Searchable Fields
Searchable fields are the key-value pairs of the JSON data that you have uploaded and want to make available for search. You can choose to include all the fields or only a subset of them. It is only possible to search the fields that have been designated as searchable.
Refining Your Search with Hoppysearch's Searchable Fields
By default, when you create an index in Hoppysearch, all fields from the records become immediately searchable. This means that you can start searching right away without any additional configuration. However, if you want to refine your search and remove irrelevant information, it's possible to specify which fields should be searchable. This is particularly useful if you have non-textual data, such as image URLs, that you don't want to include in the search results.
Using the searchable fields setting, you can choose the fields that are most meaningful and relevant to your search queries. Additionally, you can even rank the fields by importance to fine-tune your search results. This means that you can give higher priority to fields that are more important to your users and increase the relevancy of your search results. With Hoppysearch, you have the flexibility to customize your search experience and provide the best results for your users.
